I have just received this exciting new bit of kit - an underwater housing for my Canon 5D MkII.
For the past year I have been wanting to get in the water to capture unique landscape and surf images from the sea. The landscape shot shown above was taken last week without a waterproof housing but it was this shot that really inspired me to buy one. I have been surfing in Jersey for the past 7 years and on many occasions I have spotted the most incredible scenes out in the water - backlit waves, silhouettes of surfers, reflecting colours etc. Hopefully now I will be able to capture this and bring back some rare shots of Jersey's beautiful shoreline. I can't wait to test it out! I have a couple of trips to Europe this month, which will be a good opportunity to give it a trial run in the warmer water.
